Montini student take a day of recollection

LOMBARD—A day of recollection for all freshmen was held Jan. 19 at Montini Catholic High School in Lombard. A day of recollection is a time for the students to reflect on their personal lives. It was an opportunity for students to recognize how the daily activities affect themselves and others.

The Perfect Peace Retreat Team came to help facilitate our day of recollection. The group works with schools around the Chicago area. Their mission is to construct, facilitate and implement retreats that transform lives. They have affected over 10,000 people while working with over 50 organizations.

It was a wonderful day, in which the freshmen were able to speak openly among their peers and learn the they have a community supporting them.
